She definitely seemed more positive than last time she was here, which is exactly what the nation needs. She is absolutely correct in pointing out that there are not going to be magical solutions, that things are going to be tough before they get better.
But the points of the memo remain, there is little trust in Iceland and the bitter experience left over from the Baugur courtcase earlier this decade has not filled peoples’ hearts with confidence.
