You forget that Pálmi in Fons and now Björgólfur Thor have both expressed their regret, and even tried to apologize.
Their remorse does seem as fake as a pedophile’s confessional in catholic church – but at least they said they have done wrong…

True. These guys just feel bad about not being looked at as barons anymore.
It’s like when Geir H. Haarde said something like: “If anyone feels that I have done wrong, I’m sorry” (that you feel that way).
No actual apology or admission of wrong doings – just expressing that he felt sorry for people who had the “wrong” emotions, compared to his world view.
