Looking Forward Without Petur

Every Thursday morning, Independence Party MP Petur Blondal can be heard on radio Bylgjan’s morning talk show arguing against a Left Green MP, usually Atli Gislason.

When his opponent tried to explain that the perilous budget cuts and tax hikes facing the state were a necessary hangover cure needed after the last few years Petur kept scolding him for just wanting to look backwards not forward.

I agree with Petur. I want to look forwards to a better Iceland. Preferably one where I don’t have to listen to Petur anymore.
