Silfur Egils, the talk show was packed yesterday with lots of good information.
You can watch it here at Lara Hanna’s blog. Many of the interviews are in English, including Eva Joly, Alain Lipietz, Michael Hudson and Gerard Van Vliet.
Gerard is the spokesperson for the Dutch savers who haven’t been reimbursed for the money they had in IceSave.
A disclosure, Gerard and I are working on a book on IceSave for publication outside Iceland. We are trying to explain things in a simple manner from both sides, although the events of last week have made any simplifying attempts quite difficult.

Maybe you can ask Gerard van Vliet to translate what both he and the economist Sweder van Wijnbergen had to say in Pauw & Witteman on January 5th (see http://pauwenwitteman.vara.nl/Archief-detail.113.0.html?&tx_ttnewstt_news=14318&tx_ttnewsbackPid=111&cHash=a263043ee7 ). Van Wijnbergen’s take on it is not what Van Vliet wants to hear, but I’m Dutch too and at least this Dutch person agrees a lot more with Van Wijnbergen! For the sake of the argument it might even be a good idea to have Van Wijnbergen in Silfur Egils show.
