Back Again

If anyone missed me updating the site in the last few days then rejoice. I am back.

No, I wasn’t seeking spiritual enlightenment with the Dalai Lama who visited Iceland this week. I have just been too busy.

Apart from having a crammed schedule, I have also realized that once in a while it is good to take a break from writing on the economic and political situation in Iceland. When you read as much about it and as much into it as I have done this winter it is easy to feel overwhelmed, sometimes helpless and too often pessimistic. And then it is better to write nothing at all and allow the head and the heart to process what has happened.

The changes on the site are a part of trying to make it interesting and more accessible. Please let me know how that is working … or not.  I am now starting to use Twitter, as you can see in the right-hand corner so follow me there if you dare. I have also opened up a Flickr account where I’ll be posting photos of Iceland and things related to the crash. If you have any interesting photos that you have taken yourself, please share.

There are quite a few readers who have been sharing information with me, and sending me links with all sorts of interesting stuff. Please continue to do so.

So, back into the darkness that is the Icelandic situation :-)
