I truly agree with you on the failure, both of system, legislator, and controller of the system. This is a system build on trust, freedom, and fairness but when one of these factors fail the whole system fails – this has been vividly depicted in the last six months, or so.

To me it seems like the legislator has been too gullible toward bankers and accountants, in general, have not been doing there jobs – otherwise they would not have signed on some of the statements.

I live in Denmark and we have some of the same problems here. The difference lies in the size of the banking industry. This doesn’t though mean the end of the problems here because the Danish krone is way to strong, which mean’s for an exporting country that their products won’t be selling – in the long run this will lead to unemployment skyrocketing.

I am a scholar in Japan, and eager to know what happened there. Then, I would like to understand how and why.
